Guardian Angel Pet Care opened and has been in business since July 2023.
Stephanie is a former vet tech of 15yrs from Florida. From working in a high paced shelter to the top 10% AAHA vet hospital and handling a variety of animals and pets, gives her excellent experience, skills and knowledge on animal care. She has also taken several extended learning animal care courses during her years as a vet tech, along with attending Veterinary Technician Continuing Education Conference at the University of Florida.

Also, Stephanie currently certified in Pet Sitting, Dog walking and Pet First Aid & CPCR (See Credentials Tab). 

To top off the business side of things, Stephanie has received her A.A from a community college and a B.S from the University of Central Florida majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology. Stephanie has been trained and taught on business management and customer service during her years working in business administration at the Orlando SPCA (now known as Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando). 

Absolutely! Being an official business and taking precautions, Guardian Angel Pet Care is licensed through Carter County and is insured through PCI (Pet Care Insurance).

No. Meet and Greets are required before booking services. 

Do to liability and pet territory, a meet and greet is a safety precaution that is required. 

It's a wonderful time to take a moment to meet the sitter who will be entering your home, go over details such as routines, location of pet items and familiarize with surroundings along with letting the pet(s) get the scent of the sitter to be sure it will work out.

Plus, we want to be sure not only is the pet comfortable with the pet sitter, but the owner is too.

Yes. There are three forms that must be filled out and turned in before the first visit.

1. The Registration form (Owner/Pet/Vet information)

2. Agreement form (GAPC policies & Service agreement)

3. Photo/Video consent form (Allows GAPC to share appropriate and respectful photos/videos on social media/marketing/promotions while protecting personal space to let others see pet and sitter interactions.)
While your pet is sleeping or resting and want "their" time, I will do agreed maintenance around the home (water plants, sweep or vacuum, collect mail, etc) which is included in the base pay. Once tasks are completed, I may read books, manage my business virtually or crochet.
